Battlefield 1943 out next week on PS3

Battlefield 1943 will be available for download on the PSN on July 9th.  The first-person-shooter multiplayer game will host up to 24 players per match. The graphics should be quite impressive as DICE are using the same technology used in Battlefield: Bad Company.

Players will be able to drive vehicles and the environments will be destructible. There will be two playable teams on offer, the U.S. Marines and the Imperial Japanese Navy.
