Super Smash Flash 2 Review

Super Smash Flash 2 is a free online game developed and produced by McCleod Gaming that is easily accessible from your PC. It is part of a series of flash games. What makes this game different is that it is a fighting game where all the fighters are from major gaming companies including Nintendo, Namco, Pokémon and many more.

The game is predominately similar to Super Smash Bro’s, which was the first in the series and is a great game. This game runs on similar mechanics which is perfect for those of you who loved Super Smash Bro’s. The game takes the form of pixellated settings that are used as the backdrop for all the extreme fighting between all 28 unique characters.

The characters you will meet while playing this game range from anime characters to old Nintendo characters. They include Goku, Sonic, Mario, Donkey King, Mega Man, Pikachu, Naruto, Ichigo and Bomber Man. Some find this mix of characters in one game strange, but in the end, it seems as though this mix is becoming favourable among many who are choosing to embrace the strangeness. Imagine all these gaming icon’s facing off against each other in a feisty brawl, if this sounds like something you might like then Super Smash Flash 2 is the game for you.

Alongside 28 characters to pick from, you can also choose from 44 maps to fight in and 2 gaming modes which include solo or group. If you choose to play solo mode, you’ll be able to use this section to first get to know the characters and their specific skills during training mode. This gives you the chance to develop your skills with the characters you like before heading into a full-on brawl. Training mode will also give you the chance to become familiar with the maps.

If you’re ready to go to battle you can choose to go into either Event Mode or Stadium Mode. In events mode you will be required to complete 5 challenges while in stadium mode you will need to complete 5 target breaking challenges. At each stage the target gets smaller and harder to hit and the maps tend to become more and more difficult. It’s all in the challenge of this intensified fighting game.

Group mode is quite different from solo mode and offers two ways of play. You can have up to 4 people in your group playing the game and you will be able to choose either team battle mode or free-for-all mode. In team battle mode, your group of 4 is split into two teams where you will be forced to face off against each other. Free-for-all mode is simply every man for themselves, where every team member fights on their own against everyone.

Once you’ve fought to the death or made it to the end of a match, the game will give you all the specific information you need to know like how many KO’s you made and how much damage you made or received to be able to tally up the scores to determine the champion.

Ultimately, Super Smash Bro’s Brawl is the mother title to Super Smash Flash 2 which serves as the latest adaption. To carry on from Brawl, new stages have been added to the game which makes this game feel like it is a natural expansion from Brawl.

The game flows and functions quickly and efficiently allowing you to immerse yourself in the intense brawls with your favourite character without any disruption. If you are any sort of fan of the Smash Bro Series than I defiantly recommend that you play this game – you can play super smash flash 2 beta now! So, what are you waiting for?
