Use the following trick to change the species and fins of your fish without an unknown chemical or Wasp Grouper. Put a fish in the isolation tank and type mutation. You will see an alphabetical list of fish species, then a list of fin types. Select any non-magical fish desired.
Unlimited money:
Put any species or random fish in the isolation tank. You can get unlimited amounts of money by holding 9 when setting the price until infinity appears, then sell that fish.

Use the following trick if you do not want to wait for fish to hatch or grow. Set the system time ahead (two hours forward recommended when the game is on 2x speed, three or four hours forward recommended for normal game speed. Note: Make sure you do not have any sick, unhealthy, or hungry fish before doing this or they will die.
Easy money:
Set all fish at over $800 and people will buy them. Then, buy five fish eggs and hatch them. Also buy six drops of fish hormones. When your sale tank is full, keep them in tank 1 and you will keep getting over $800.
To make money fast, start raising your species values into the thousands.
When you have breed a rare breed of fish, but have not researched the environment, they tend to die quickly. Place them in your sale tank and sell them as soon as they are old enough to make some money from them.
You can sell the Canary Fire-Arrow for $475 and the Crimson Comet for $125.
Take your fully grown fish and place it in the sell tank. Then put the fish in the isolation chamber to set the price. Change the price to $99,999,999. Go out and sell the fish. The customers will actually buy the fish.
The Orange Fruitfish hatches out of the original eggs. You can make it worth about $30. Get two and breed them until you have enough money. The customers will buy them very fast.
Buy the pagoda ornament and put it in your tank. Then, sell your fish for as much money as desired.
Saving money:
Do not spend all your money on eggs. Reserve about $100 for medicines. Breed more and build up your money. If you spend all of it, you will not be able to purchase medicine to cure sick fish. If certain fish die, you may have a difficult time learning how to breed them again.
Getting rare fish:
You can do nothing but wait for fish that you can only get by purchasing eggs. This is, by far, the hardest and most frustrating part of the game. You just have to be patient. You may have to purchase eggs dozens of times before you get a single fish that you need. To keep purchasing eggs, you must breed and sell other fish. Get rid of any fish that you do not need because they just waste space. Keep experimenting with breeding until you get a fish that sells for about $20 for $30. For example , breed a large amount of Golden Goldbulbs (Greenfin Fatfish Pink Beta) which sell for about $33 each. A Speckled Leaffish (Twin-Fin Fruitfish Orange Spotanus) sells for about $51. Keep doing and buy the eggs that you will require.
Magic fish:
When you begin breeding magic fish, do not waste too much time raising and selling other fish. Raise a large number of the magic fish instead. The magic fish sell for large amounts and attract lots of customers. When keeping only magic fish as breeders, you will not take up as much room in your tanks with less-profitable fish. Reset the default prices of your magic fish before you sell them. The recommended low-end prices (for selling more of them quickly) are as follows.
Greenfin Spotanus: $48 to $51
Speckled Leaffish: $100 to $125
Crimson Comet: $100 to $125
Oriental Goldbulb: $100 to $125
Orange Snooper: $85 to $95
Wasp Grouper: $120 to $130
Canary Fire-Arrow: $250 to $275
Keep two of every magical fish once you have got them in order to continue breeding them. If you sell all or all but one of them, you must follow the entire breeding process again.

Wasp Grouper:
Once you have got the Wasp Grouper, make sure that you do not leave it in a tank where you are attempting to breed specific fish. The Wasp Grouper is the Magic Fish of mutation. If he is in the tank with your pregnant fish, you will not get the babies that you are expecting from your pregnant fish.
Keeping fish healthy:
The aerator, heater, snail, seahorse, and magical plants can make a significant difference in the health of your fish.
Research:
Stack your money and purchase all of your research (food, environment, and advertising) before attempting magical fish. Otherwise, the fish that you need to breed to make the magical fish will not survive in your tanks.
Breeding:
Purchasing a second tank allows for mass-breeding, which leads to more money. Each tank holds only 21 fish.
Dead fish can still be used to breed. You can keep one in the isolation tank so it does not harm the health of the others.
Use the following trick if you have money but not the breeds. Get ten fish of assorted breeds. Do this by either buy the unknown chemical, feeding the fish four times to get a group, then dropping the chemical on them. It divides them into new or other breeds and you can continue breeding from there. The other method is to force babies. Do this by getting all the fish in a tank pregnant (no more than fifteen). Buy the hormone, feed the fish three times to get a group, then add three drops of hormone. The babies will hatch from these instantly.
Growth hormones:
After the fish have their babies or you buy eggs, you can use the growth hormone repeatedly.
Sell fish quickly:
Do not throw away your dead fish. Place them in the sale tank. You cannot sell them. Place an a live fish in there and you will get a big crowd of customers.
