Win any battle:
After your first turn, click “Retreat” as fast as possible during the CPU’s turn. You will be asked if you wish to retreat. Click “Yes”. Instead of your troops retreating, the CPU will retreat and you will win the battle.
This trick will let you win if you are attacked (ground battles) without entering combat. When the enemy attacks your city, you will get an option for the CPU to automatically position your troops (the “OK” button) or not (the “Cancel” button). Click the “Cancel” and you will go to the battlefield screen where you are given the opportunity to place your troops manually. When you click the “Cancel” button a second time, the game will glitch. The next screen indicates that you have successfully defended against the invaders. This is very useful when playing the hardest level campaign. However, sometimes when you select the “Cancel” button for the second time an error will appear and the game will exit. Even when you restart the game, the same game ending glitch will happen for that particular battle.
