Easy money:
Kill and rob a merchant. Select “Leave” from the menu and you can exit before being discovered. Deposit your stolen money in the bank. Walk to another nearby town and return to pass time. You will gain interest on your deposit.
Gaining levels:
Viewing museum exhibits will level you up. After viewing all of the exhibits of a particular coin type, leave the museum. You will get a message that the Caretaker wants to see you. He will advance you one level.
