Official Fact Sheet:

The game offers first/third person vehicle based action, in epic 3D environments as part of a series of adventures in the Arcturus game world. A central aim is to capture large-scale epic battles, involving a variety of uniquely designed vehicles in active combat across several miles, with the player there in the middle of it all, taking centre stage. The action will take place in a game world that feels alive and is constantly evolving. Future events will often be affected by the player’s current actions, leading to greater immersion, and strong replay value.

  • The game is set on a distant alien planet that orbits the Arcturus star. It focuses on the Lumerans’ struggle during the wars that pitched them against the seemingly superior forces of the Xizon. The game player is at the centre of this struggle, in the role of a young Lumeran named Sirac.
  • The player can achieve a series of promotions as they progress through the game’s adventures making up the campaign.Promotion can bring several benefits.
  • Firstly more advanced and more powerful vehicles become available for piloting. Secondly, the player’s influence on other friendly vehicles increases. At the early stages of play, the player, in the role of a fresh recruit with much to prove, will have no direct influence on how other friendly vehicles behave.
  • With improving rank, requests for help may be listened to. Friendly units from within a certain distance may then decide to respond to player requests for assistance, depending on whether the player’s rank is important enough. At the highest ranks such requests will be construed as orders by vehicles of lower rank and carried out compulsorily.
  • The game’s adventures unfold across the alien world spanning many unique environments. Seamless travel will occur from the world’s surface to underground locations deep below; amongst stalagtites and stalagmites, via cave/tunnel networks, and opening up into vast caverns with underground lakes.
