The player can fight in different theaters of war, flying actual historical planes: Spitfire, P-51 Mustang, and many others. The planes are all based on the original aircraft.
The game offers many different missions: dynamic dogfights, escort missions and ground assaults. The players will also be able to play a multiplayer Deathmatch in split screen. Combat Wings is the pinnacle of good air combat!
