Wardog is an ex-criminal, mind-wiped mercenary hired out to the warring feudal enclaves of a future Earth. A bomb in his head ensures total loyalty; the timer embedded in his forehead counting down when he receives orders from his Controller – if it reaches zero the bomb detonates. Wardog must travel to the heart of Imperial power and through the criminal underbelly of twisted enclaves to confront a horror crawling out of the war scarred Blasted Lands. En route hell lose a friend, lust dangerously, uncover a betrayal, disentangle a conspiracy and maybe retrieve some of his past, lost during the mind-wipe when he became a bombhead.
